    Dr. Brad Nobel Veal

Too often it's the doctor who gets all the information on the patient, and the patient gets little information on the doctor and practice. I would like to change that. My full name is Brad Nobel Veal, and I grew up on a farm/ranch in the northwest region of South Dakota. I currently live in Medford with my wife Tammi and our two children Alec and Isabella. My education began in Brookings, South Dakota, where I received a B.S. degree with a major in Human Wellness and Fitness. Prior to completing my post graduate studies, I interned at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, working with McKennan Cardiac Rehab and their employee wellness program. Following that, I began chiropractic school at Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in February of 1996.

I was led to chiropractic following an athletic injury in high school. That injury left me with recurring back pain and headaches. I sought the care of a chiropractor who was able to find and correct the cause of my problem, rather than simply cover up my pain. He found a problem in my spine that affected my nervous system. By correcting that spinal problem and allowing my nervous system to function better, I not only found remission of my symptoms but a much healthier lifestyle. I discovered that these nerves do not just carry pain signals, but control every cell, organ, and tissue of the body. I saw the difference it made in my life, which medical doctors were unable to help me with. I then discovered that I wanted to do this for other people.

I have chosen to devote my life to chiropractic because I want to make a difference in people's lifestyle and health. I want to see sick people get well by allowing their body and nervous system function better. To help others as I've been helped so they can experience optimal health, is one of my greatest desires. After seeing the benefits in myself, I want everyone I come in contact with to experience the same kind of health freedom my family and I enjoy.

I believe wholeheartedly in how I practice and I'm always striving to improve. I believe I give a great service for a fair fee. I want to help people. I want people to see the benefits of chiropractic and refer their friends and family. It is this way and only this way that people will understand what chiropractic is and how one might benefit. I continually look for better ways to improve my patient's health. I spend time reading journals and articles and talking with other doctors about ways to best treat my patients. I also attend seminars to keep updated and continue my education. I look at different techniques and research that will best serve my patients and their health issues.

The reason I established a practice in this community is because I want to be able to provide the people of this surrounding area with an alternative solution to their health issues. The whole purpose of this clinic is to serve my patients by giving them the best care possible through chiropractic. By listening to patients explain their problems and concerns, I will be able to provide the best care possible. What seems to make our practice unique is the open, friendly environment, along with the techniques I use. I work to resolve my patients' symptoms to help them achieve a lifestyle free of pain. I work with the physically challenged - from the athlete to the business person, from the college student and senior citizen to the newborn baby.

My personal promise to you is to give you a caring environment so that you will have every opportunity to resolve your health issues.
