    Dr. Dale Strama

My name is Dr. Dale Strama.  I am a 1985 graduate of The Palmer College of Chiropractic and have made practicing in the Medford community my passion since then.  As a graduate of Medford Area Senior High, it is especially rewarding to be working with my friends and neighbors in a town I am proud to call home.

I specialize in an upper cervical technique known as NUCCA.  This form of chiropractic is very gentle and focuses specifically on the top vertebra of your spine, the atlas.  The atlas serves as the connection between your brain above it and your spinal cord running through it.  The brain functions as the control center for your entire body and the way it communicates is through the spinal cord and the nerves which reach every single cell of our bodies.  By realigning the atlas, the signals coming from your brain to the rest of your body can be sent as a clear message.

My path to chiropractic began when I was 19 years old.  After a logging accident, I found myself in the hospital with a broken neck and a metal cast screwed to my skull.  Following the healing of the broken vertebrae and the removal of the cast, I was unable to turn my head and neck.  My doctors told me that would just be the way things were from now on.  Unsatisfied and looking for answers, I sought chiropractic care and full function was restored.

My wife, Lori, and I have a passion for chiropractic and the benefit it has to offer and have thus, raised our four children Chelsea, Leslie, Carly and Garrett in the chiropractic way of life.  The purpose of my practice is to provide people with the ability to heal themselves.  Our bodies have amazing potential; it's simply waiting to be unleashed.  My goal is to help your body reach its full potential.
